The founder and president of IntelliGineering Corp., Dr. Bernard Nadel, is an expert in the application of advanced computing technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, eCommerce, Web-Application Development and tools for enhancing Creativity in Engineering. He has 18 years of experience applying, teaching and conducting research, including ten years at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and at Wayne State University, Detroit.

Dr. Nadel brings to bear a wide breadth of knowledge, having received a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics and Mathematics, an M.Sc. in Bioengineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He has taught tutorials at national and international conferences and regularly teaches public courses and chairs seminars for professional societies such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and for various universities.

Dr. Nadel is a member of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), a board member of the Detroit chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and has several times chaired and vice-chaired the Southeast Michigan chapter of the ACM Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence (SMART). Dr. Nadel has published extensively on his knowledge-based transmission design work for Ford Motor Co. and on his research in general.
